Ben Gould MYLES KEANE – 28, former US Army Captain, Military Intelligence; Quincy High School (1937), Boston College (1941).

Alyssa Baldwin EMILY TALBOT – 26, Vassar College graduate (1943), Myles's childhood friend; Quincy High School (1939).

Corinne Manning CAROL – Irish maid with the Keane family for over 30 years.

Bill Carter NORMAN A playwright, pretty much any age.


Greg Abbott PIGEON  A pigeon. Pigeon looks like a person, acts like a

pigeon. There is no pigeon costume, though Pigeon

may wear the graduated grays of a city pigeon. All is

achieved through body language.


Ann Danby THE REST: The other people in the play are played by a single

actor. This actor’s roles include Jogger, Kid, Sort of

Crazy Guy, Homeless Woman.

Beth Jackson ADELE: WILL’s wife or sister or roommate

Greg Abbott WILL: ADELE’s husband or brother or roommate
